6 Holiday Decorating Ideas Your Space Needs

1. Trees - The More the Merrier

Who every said one tree is enough, surely does not have the Christmas spirit.  Adorn you home with many trees of all sizes, a large on in the living room for the family to decorate together. A small snow-covered tree with sparkling mini lights in the kitchen to enjoy while you baking all your Christmas treats.  Trees are a great way to spread the holiday spirit throughout your entire home.

2. Gorgeous Garlands

Garlands have so many places they look great during the Holiday Season, so don’t just limit yourself to the traditional fireplace. Garlands can be used to jazz up your bar carts, along the backsplash of your kitchen counter, or on your hall or entrance console.  You can also simply run a garland down the center of your dining table for an easy centerpiece. Don’t forget the lights, ornaments and ribbon!

3. Ornaments Everywhere

Christmas balls come in so many beautiful colors and designs that it is a shame to only use them for your tree. Filling glass containers or apothecary jars with balls that match your color theme is a great way to highlight their beauty in other areas of the home. Place balls on garland, under Cloche Domes with sprigs of greenery, or use as a place card holder on your Christmas table.

4. Grand Fireplace - Santa’s Entrance

Oh, the beauty of a fireplace during the holiday season, the decorating options are endless. Garland is a must, decorated with your Christmas theme and colors. A wreath on the over mantle is always beautiful. Stockings hung by the chimney with care…you got this. Then the mantel, this is your time to shine, the perfect space for your favorite Christmas trinkets or collections, have fun!!!

5. Spruce Up Your Workspace

Whether you work from home or in an office space don’t forget to bring that Holiday Cheer to your workspace by adding a few carefully chosen Holiday items that will bring you joy throughout the day.  Personally, I love my miniature brightly colored, glittery reindeers. Pick your own favorite and make it a tradition to bring them to work with you on Dec 1.

6. Dine with Style

Having friends and family over for the holiday season? Set your table with style. First pick your theme and one color to be the star of your table. Place settings can be formal or informal depending on the theme of your party. Make sure to use small candles and flower arrangements on table as to not block the view of guests.  Feel free to use larger arrangement on side buffets or bar carts, which should also reflect the theme of the party.  Potted Herbs, plants or succulents make for an easy to care for table topper, make sure to use pretty cachepots for no leakage. Finally add that special touch with personalized place cards. Viola, time to enjoy!!
